Top Tips for IELTS gives you some essential advice (‘tips’) for each part of each of the four IELTS components (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking).
Top Tips for IELTS is produced by Cambridge English Language Assessment in collaboration with the British Council. It comes in a convenient A5 format which is easy to use and includes:
In the book:
- clear examples and explanations to show you exactly what each tip means
- general tips for each skill to help you as you revise
- sections on how to revise and what to do on the day of the test
On the CD-Rom:
- an interactive IELTS practice test for you to try so that you know what to expect when you take the test
- answers, sample answers (for the Writing), scores and feedback at the end of the test, so that you can check your performance
- a video of an example Speaking test to give you a clear idea of what you have to do when you take the test
Official IELTS Practice Materials
The Official IELTS Practice Materials (Volumes 1 and 2) are recommended for anyone who wants to improve their IELTS band score or test if their English is at the required level to take IELTS. Written by Cambridge English Language Assessment examiners and material writers with many years of experience preparing IELTS tests, the Official IELTS Practice Materials use materials approved by the IELTS partners: British Council, Cambridge English Language Assessment and IDP: IELTS Australia.

Common mistakes at IELTS
Common mistakes at IELTS Intermediate and Common Mistakes at IELTS Advanced highlight the real mistakes that students make in the exam – and show how to avoid them. Based on analysis of thousands of exam scripts, each unit targets a key problem area. Clear explanations and exercises help students to use the language accurately. Regular tests offer students a further opportunity to check and consolidate what they have learnt.

Speaking Test Preparation Pack
The Speaking Test Preparation Pack for IELTS is a comprehensive teacher resource pack from Cambridge English Language Assessment to help teachers who are preparing students to take the IELTS Speaking test.
Written by experienced examiners, it includes student worksheets with teacher’s notes, two sets of candidate visuals for Speaking test practice in class, and a DVD of students taking an IELTS Speaking test so students can see what they will have to do on the day of the test.

Road to IELTS
Road to IELTS es una aplicación para preparar IELTS online, cuidadosamente armada por el British Councill (disponible únicamente en App Store para iOS)
Contiene 300 ejercicios interactivos, videos con tips y consejos de expertos en el British Council sobre la variedad de preguntas que se pueden encontrar en el examen y también mock tests para descargar.
