Abstract
Writing with AI: An Efficiency Booster or a Creativity Killer?
During this session, we will explore a variety of AI tools that could be useful to beginner writers, students thinking about cheating on exams, those who might just want help with structure and organization, and those needing a pinch of inspiration or a model to follow. Most importantly for us, the teachers, we will examine different ways to differentiate, assess, and incorporate what is helpful and might actually work. Because AI is here to stay.
Biodata
Ganna Matichyna is originally from Ukraine but has lived in Mexico for more than 20 years. She holds the degree of LL.M. with studies at the University of Nottingham, U.K., and did post-graduate work at Gunma University in Japan before settling in Mexico, where she held teaching positions at universities and language centers. In 2013, she left classroom teaching to help found Book Services Company, which is the exclusive distributor for Express Publishing in Uruguay
