Abstract: Reading skills can be seen as challenging and boring by both, students and teachers. In this presentation, different innovative ways to deal with reading materials will be presented to make it an enjoyable experience. Participants will take hands-on activities to exploit different reading resources at the most by connecting them to the real world.

Biodata: Eugenia Dell’Osa is a graduate English teacher who has been dedicated to ELT since 1995. With more than 20 years’ experience in kinder and primary classrooms, she has worked in the creation and implementation of bilingual curriculums in kindergartens and primary schools, the creation of teacher development courses, as a national and international speaker, materials writer, and coordinator of groups of teachers in different educational contexts. Despite her wide-ranging experience, she is a lifelong learner and will always be passionate about teaching in innovative non-traditional ways.
