Unlocking Student Competencies for Deeper Learning: Strategies for Teachers
Abstract: The workshop aims to equip teachers with effective strategies and approaches to foster deeper learning among their students. In today’s rapidly changing world, it is crucial for educators to go beyond traditional content delivery and focus on developing students’ competencies that will empower them to thrive in various contexts.
Through interactive sessions, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their current instructional practices and explore ways to integrate real-world connections into their lessons. The workshop will also address the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures students’ social-emotional skills and encourages risk-taking and resilience.
By unlocking students’ competencies for deeper learning, educators will enable their students to become active participants in their own education, fostering lifelong learning skills and preparing them for success in the 21st century.
