It is a one-year course for teachers of English as a foreign language who are interested in acquiring a formal teaching qualification in TEFL. The course provides participants with an overview of the latest trends regarding a wide range of TEFL-related issues. It aims to provide teachers with new ideas and techniques and to arouse their curiosity about different aspects of the teaching profession so that they continue investigating, experimenting and learning on their own. The course has been designed for practising teachers but highly motivated trainees with no experience in TEFL have been able to complete the course successfully.

The Anglo Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language is validated by NILE (Norwich Institute for Language Education, UK), the biggest specialist provider of teacher training and teacher development programmes in ELT in Europe.

NILE has worked with the Anglo over many years to provide quality training and CPD in ELT, is a collaborative partner with the Anglo for the Cambridge Delta and NILE’s MA in Professional Development in Language Education (MAPDLE).

Requirements: Participants should be at least 18 years old and their command of the language should be that required by the University of Cambridge to pass the Cambridge English C1 Advanced
