The congress will be held in Montevideo.

The 11th Anglo Congress for Teachers of English as a Foreign Language held last 9th and 10th August was, once again, a huge success.
We would like to congratulate all participants for being responsible and caring ELT professionals who did not hesitate to make such a time investment in order to enhance their professional practice.
We would like to express our immense gratitude to the 23 presenters from Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the USA and the UK, whose generous contributions made the conference possible.
We would also like to thank our sponsors for their support and participation; without them, it would not have been possible to organise what one of them described as «a state of the art Congress which academically challenged teachers and offered all of us a unique opportunity to build new professional networks”.
Our special thanks also to our staff and teacher trainees who showed enormous dedication and contagious enthusiasm at all times.
We are proud to say that our mission has been accomplished, and we now look forward to seeing you all next year when the 15th edition of the LABCI conference is held in Montevideo.

Venue
As an ever-growing event, the Anglo Congress has had to change venue yet again.
This year we have chosen a space especially designed for this kind of activities, a place where comfort and technology come together to make the most of the Anglo Congress experience.

Presenters
Teachers, teacher trainers, school managers and consultants will all get together at the Anglo Congress.
With a wide variety of presenters who have taught different levels, age groups, different kinds of courses – from computer-mediated to immersion ones- and in different parts of the world, the programme promises to be one of the best and more enriching ever.
