After studying at Oxford, Dave trained to be a Secondary School teacher. He then moved to Spain where he has taught teenagers for over 35 years and written books for teens since 1995.

He is the author of the best-selling ‘Gateway’ series, and is the series editor and co-author of the brand-new Macmillan Secondary course ‘Global Innovators’.

Dave has given talks in 34 countries and is active on social media.
